Horses & Staff

Without exception, our horses are fit, responsive and well-mannered. They enjoy their work and are all accustomed to the local terrain. Our selection ranges from Shetlands to Shires and from genuine Cobs to stunning Thoroughbreds. The horses are extremely well cared for and benefit from a wide range of professional services from physiotherapy to sports massage.

The stable is a family run affair with Diane and Donna Penwill at the helm. Our staff are a cheerful bunch who are all experienced riders and who will do their utmost to ensure that you have a fantastic ride. They know the horses and the moor well and are always willing to offer advice. All are trained in first aid and carry first aid kits and mobile phones on every ride.
